We provide information on and referrals for child care, self care and elder care services. We accept no compensation or fees from any of the services we list. Our goal is to enhance the well-being of Canadian families - children, parents, and grandparents.

BusyFamily guides subscribers through the often frustrating and time-consuming task of finding quality, affordable elder care for family members. We help members, within minutes, to find the kind of information it would normally take days or weeks to assemble.

We now have more than 10 years of experience helping thousands of individuals and families in Canada to find the professional resources they need to successfully manage "the work-family balancing act." In 1988, we pioneered TakingCare, the first on-line child care information and referral service in North America, and began delivering this new form of service to some of the largest corporations in Canada. By 1990, we had added elder care assistance across Canada. In 1992, we also pioneered North America's first self-serve Interactive Voice Response (IVR) telephone/fax service for corporate clients seeking child and elder care information. The rise and popularity of the Internet has enabled us since 1998 to launch two leading edge websites: www.lifestagecare.ca for professionals and www.busyfamily.com for consumers.
