1. Users of the BusyFamily Resource Centre and its Member Areas ("the Centre") acknowledge that they are at all times subject to and bound by these terms and conditions. Any User who is not prepared to be subject to these terms and conditions should immediately log off from this Web Site.
   
2. The Centre reserves the right to deny or cancel access to the Centre's services at any time or from time to time in its sole discretion and for any reason.
   
3. The Centre's goal is to provide an information service to users on a number of subjects relevant to family life. Neither the Centre nor its related or affiliated companies or persons accept any liability or responsibility to Users for the content of the information provided by the Centre, nor can the Centre be responsible in any way for the accuracy or completeness of any information which a User received from the Centre. Further, no representation or warranty is made, either express or implied, with respect to the accuracy or completeness of any information provided by the Centre.
   
4. The Centre disclaims any liability or responsibility for any loss, damage, cost or expense, or any injury suffered by any User or any other person which results directly or indirectly from the use of any information, product or service listed, shown or received by accessing the Centre, including without limitation, direct, indirect, special or consequential damages, however caused. In no event shall the Centre's liability to any User exceed the amount of any fee or consideration paid by such User to the Centre.
   
5. The Centre does not endorse or recommend any product, service or facility. The inclusion of any information, service, product or facility shown or listed by the Centre does not represent or imply, directly or indirectly, any endorsement by the Centre. Accordingly, any User who purchases or uses any such service, product or facility, does so at his or her own risk and is solely responsible for the consequences of such purchase or use, including having made their own assessment as to what usage they shall choose to make of any information herein provided.
   
6. The placement of an advertisement on this Web Site does not constitute the endorsement of the Centre or its services by the advertiser. No advertiser on this Web Site is responsible in any manner for any information provided to Users by the Centre. Any advertisement on this Web Site is independent of the Centre and is not an implied warranty of accuracy of any advertiser's material or content. The User is to make his/her own evaluation of any material contained in any advertisement and shall not look to or rely upon the Centre for the accuracy of same.
   
7. The inclusion of any advertisement on this Web Site does not constitute an endorsement by the Centre of the product or service being advertised and the Centre assumes no responsibility or liability to anyone who purchases any product or service advertised on this Web Site.
   
8. The User acknowledges that the Centre does not and cannot provide any warranty or assurance with respect to the adequacy of any product, service or facility for a User's particular needs nor can the Centre be responsible if any product, service or facility listed is not available to a User, or does not meet the needs of any User.
   
9. The Centre provides an information service only. The Centre is not a replacement or substitute for medical, psychological or other professional counselling or treatment. Users should supplement the use of the Centre with their own research and investigations and the advice of their medical and/or other professional advisors.
   
10. The information provided by the Centre is for the use of its Users and cannot be reproduced or sold by Users in any manner whatsoever. Any reproduction or sale of information provided by the Centre is prohibited and constitutes a breach of applicable law, including copyright and other intellectual property rights.
    
11. The Centre has the sole, exclusive and only right to reproduce, reuse, repackage and sell the information which it provides. All the information provided by the Centre is either reproduced with permission or is the copyrighted and proprietary property of the Centre.
    
12. All fees payable to the Centre must be paid in advance by cheque or credit card.
    
13. The Centre reserves the right to deny access to its information and services to any User who fails to abide by these terms and conditions.
    
14. Where required by applicable law, Users must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by law.
    
15. Access to the Centre and the use of its information services is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada and the laws of any other jurisdiction or place are specifically excluded.
    
16. The Centre is a division of Microchip Human Services Inc. ("Microchip"), 15 Wertheim Court, Suite 202 Richmond Hill, Ontario L4B 3H7. Microchip's officers, directors, agents, employees and shareholders are and shall be entitled to the protection of these terms and conditions and shall be subject to them.
    
17. These terms and conditions can be changed or modified by the Centre at any time or from time to time. Any such change or modification shall be effective immediately.
