BusyFamily Privacy Policy Your privacy is of utmost importance to us. This privacy statement describes what personal information we collect from you and how we both use and protect that information.

TakingCare Inc. is the sole owner of the client information collected on this site. Our guiding principle for managing client data is to preserve the confidentiality of all individual client information. We will not share, divulge, sell or rent any information about you to any other parties, except with your informed consent or as required by law. The only form in which we routinely share any client data is within general numerical summary reports on aggregate or group usage of our service, without any personal identifying information included.

TakingCare Inc. collects information from our customers at several different points on our BusyFamily website:

Registration

In order to use this website, a user must first complete the registration form. During registration a user is required to give basic contact information (such as name, email address, profession, telephone number and name of employer or association)and may include credit card number. This information is used to contact the user to complete the process of registration when necessary, to verify eligibility for membership, to process payment, to provide the services offered by this website and to send out a survey which gives the user a chance to rate the quality of the service provided. In a case where there is difficulty processing a registration or completing delivery of our service, the contact information is used to get in touch with the user.

Search Forms

Information about specific searches requested by customers is stored on our website. The storage of this information allows members to return to the search reports created for them and to review requested information about service providers. Our client support staff also use information about searches in order to serve customers requesting additional assistance. Please note that information about requested searches does not include any information about the identity of those in need of the services in question.

Login and Page Visit Files

We use login information and general data on page visits to track overall website usage and statistical trends. No analysis is kept of individual customer activity.

Surveys

From time-to-time, our site requests information from customers via surveys. Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary. Survey information is used for purposes of monitoring and improving the use and satisfaction of this site.

When our order form asks customers to enter a credit card number, that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry - SSL. While entering information on our membership purchase form, the lock icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, indicating a secure page. Furthermore, our organization does not retain any credit card information provided, once payment is processed. Despite these precautions, you should be aware that no security system is guaranteed foolproof and there is always a chance that information sent over the Internet could be intercepted.

All employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. All of our employees are notified and/or reminded regularly about the importance we place on privacy, and about what they are required to do to ensure that our customers= information is protected.

Correction/Updating Personal Information

In summary, the only information we retain about our clients is basic contact information (name, email address, workplace contact information, etc.) and information about any searches requested.
